Review: Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Published Date: March 2013
Publisher:  Margaret K. McElderry Books
Genre: YA

The Story: Danger and betrayal, secrets and enchantment in the breathtaking conclusion to the Infernal Devices trilogy.
Tessa Gray should be happy - aren't all brides happy?
Yet as she prepares for her wedding, a net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute.
A new demon appears, one linked by blood and secrecy to Mortmain, the man who plans to use his army of pitiless automatons, the Infernal Devices, to destroy the Shadowhunters. Mortmain needs only one last item to complete his plan. He needs Tessa. And Jem and Will, the boys who lay equal claim to Tessa's heart, will do anything to save her.

My Review: This is the perfect ending to the Infernal Devices.  I may have to start again with The Mortal Instruments - which starts after this series.

There is so much that goes on in this book, parts that I was so mad about!  Well, mad for Tessa!!  And then the parts that just wowed me.  Cassandra Clare does know what she's doing with writing these books.  Tessa finds out that she was born from impossible means.  And we learn more about her own family history along side her.  Then there's the issue with Jem's drug, the one he needs to live.  Also, our favorite warlock shows up to help Will out.

Will Tessa marry Jem?  Or will Mortmain win?  Pick up this final book in The Infernal Devices to find out!!  You won't be sorry!

  2. I have felt joy, love, despair and sadness. I have laughed and cried my eyes red. I think it says it all. Read the book.
