Deity by Jennifer L Armentrout

Spencer Hill Press
Release date: November 6th 2012
YA book 3 in The Covenant Series

From the publisher website: History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time.

Alexandria isn’t sure she’s going to make it to her eighteenth birthday--to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she’s a goner... and so is Aiden.
If that’s not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time "training"--which really is just Seth's code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time--she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.
But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she’s caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed… and destroyed.
Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate…

My Review:  If you are a Covenant Series fan, you are going to be BLOWN away by Deity. If you have not yet started this series, I am JEALOUS because you now get to start the series from the very beginning! (WHICH I highly suggest you do RIGHT NOW)!!! This series just keeps getting better with each book. I do not know how Author Jennifer L Armentrout does it but she manages to make each book better than the previous one.

Author Jennifer L Armentrout has done it again. The world she has created with Alex, Seth, Aiden, the Pures, the Half bloods, Gods and humans leaves me speechless! I cannot read this series fast enough. Every page leaves me feeling the WOW factor! I am such a huge Mythology fan and The Covenant series feeds my obsession and keeps me turning the pages as fast as I can read! Author Jennifer has a BRILLIANT mind and the stories she creates are just AMAZING! This is one of my most favorite series!

As this is the 3rd book in the INCREDIBLE series, I do not want to post ANY SPOILERS! You have to read this series. I am just blown away by how well these books are written, how the stories and characters become part of you as you read and how you keep thinking of the story, the setting and the characters LONG after you finish the books. The world of the Pures and Half Bloods have been bumped up a notch in Deity. At one point of the book, I actually said OUT LOUD to the book "OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS...NO FREAKING WAY"? *Insert hysterical giggles and excitement into this statement". NO LIE. That is how amazing this series is.

Who's team are you on? Are you Team Seth, Team Aiden or Team Alex?

  1. Team Aiden!!!!!!!!! However, I've read some other reviews and people are saying Team Leon. I'm not sure what that is about, but I can't wait to find out!
