Interview: Ariel by Gabriel Madison

What do you do when your not writing?

When I’m not writing, I’m watching TV. I’m addicted to TV shows. I watch them all the time. Not only shows from the US, but I also I’m obsessed with shows from England, and two from Australia. I like different genres of shows also, like Buffy, The Vampire Diaries, Lost Girls, The Secret Circle, Haven, Battlestar Galactica (which I’m re-watching on BBC America), Stargate Universe, Pretty Little Liars, House, NCIS: LA, Torchwood, Weeds, Entourage, Awkward, Spooks, Packed to the Rafters, Underbelly, Being Human, Skins (UK), Nikita, The Mentalist, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory, and many many more!!!

Actually, I think I watch more TV than I read books.

Do you work outside of writing or is writing your full time career?

I do some editing, but for the most part writing is my full time career. I love writing. I can’t see myself doing anything else. Don’t want to do anything else. Can’t do anything else!

What books are in your TBR stack?

Hmmm, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho, Huntress by Malinda Lo and The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson. I’m waiting until I finish writing all my paranormal novels before I start on Veronika and The Count. Oh, and I can’t wait for The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead, Stolen Nights by Rebecca Maizel and the next Star Trek Academy to come out.

What authors inspire you?

Richelle Mead, an online magazine writer named Heather Hogan, Nancy Holder, Anne Rice and Paulo Coelho

Do you think they'll finally let Damon and Elena get together on TVD?

I absolutely hope not! Team Stefan all the way. Naw, I like Damon pinning over Elena, but I wouldn’t like to see them in a relationship. Also, I’m sorry, I’m not a big fan of going from one BOTHER to another BROTHER. Every other love triangle I’m cool with (because for the most part the people are not related), but when you talk about messing with siblings, that’s just wrong to me.

Check out tomorrow for the review!

  3. Loved the interview! It was entertaining to read and learn more about the author. I am also an exception for some of the movies that were listed in the interview. Some are Haven, House, Torchwood, Pretty Little Liars (thought I haven't being watching it in a while). Can't wait to read the next one!
