Review: Witch Song by Amber Argyle

Witch Song by Amber Argyle
Published Date:
September 2011
Publisher: Rhemalda Publishing
Genre: YA

The Story: The world is changing. Once, Witch Song controlled everything from the winds to the shifting of the seasons-but not anymore. All the Witches are gone, taken captive by a traitor. All but Brusenna. As the echo of their songs fade, the traitor grows stronger. Now she is coming for Brusenna. Her guardian has sworn to protect her, but even he can't stop the Dark Witch. Somehow, Brusenna has to succeed where every other Witch has failed. Find the traitor. Fight her. Defeat her. Because if Brusenna doesn't, there won't be anything left to save.

My Review: I really enjoyed this book. It's a different take on witches, which is nice. Brusenna didn't know anything about witch training or other songs, besides the main ones she uses everyday. Argyle's world she created is unique, at least I think so. There are people who believe and trust witches, and there are those who don't. But the ones who do, are the less likely ones! I always love it when you are reading the "bad" group really is good.
