Six Moon Summer by SM Reine
Published Date: April 2011
The Story: Rylie's been bitten.
And now she has three months to find a cure before becoming a werewolf... forever.
Rylie Gresham hates everything about summer camp: the food, the fresh air, the dumb activities, and the other girls in her cabin. But the worst part is probably being bitten by a werewolf. Being a teenager is hard enough, but now she's craving raw flesh and struggles with uncontrollable anger. If she doesn't figure out a way to stop the transformation, then at the end of summer, her life is worse than over. She'll be a monster.
My Review: This was a very neat story. Rylie's parents are working on a divorce, and she's forced to go to camp so that she wouldn't see the fighting. On her first night there, she's bit by a werewolf. And she has no idea how bad it's really going to get at camp. Reine has put another twist on the whole werewolf idea. It was an entertaining story, where there's less of a choice between right and wrong. Where Rylie will have to face her fears.
