BCM: What is your favorite topic to debate?
Neal: Foreign policy is huge right now. Look what's going on in the Middle East and North Africa. Right or wrong the United States has to take a stand. Every nation in the world looks to us to in terms of how to react. We can't act equivical about human rights. I also like to debate about movies too. People are such sheep when it comes to entertainment. They don't know art from trash.
BCM: was your first thought when you met Charlotte?
Neal: I liked her sarcasm. Plus, though she was pretty she didn't have a big head about it. Now that I think about it I'm not sure if Charlotte actually knows how hot she is. She seemed lost when I met her but I liked that about her. You could tell she looked up to me, and what guy doesn't like being looked at with big eyes by a pretty girl? She made me feel important.
BCM: Tell us three things you learned from your relationship with Charlotte.
Neal: Did Charlotte tell you we were in a relationship? That's interesting. Well, for starters, I guess I just learned that girls can't be trusted to keep a secret. Also, Karma will come back to bite you in the ass if you're not careful. And I don't like to say this, but I'm afraid I also learned that I might be a little bit shallow.
BCM: Without spoiling anything, can you tell us if you have any regrets?
Neal: After all's been said and done I do regret that I'm not more like Charlotte. She's a strong person, stronger than any of us gave her credit for being. I should call her--I don't have a lot of "real" friends right now. I could use a friend like Charlotte. She knows a thing or two about heartache. I could use some advice.
BCM: If we checked your iPod, what would be the most played songs?
Neal: Right now, I'm really digging the Decemberists. Panda Bear. Animal Collective. Deerhunter. I like smart music. Sufjan Stevens. The Fleet Foxes. My favorite radio station is KEXP. They used to be better but they've gotten a little too commercial for my tastes.
