Character Interview with Sergio from Boyfriends with Girlfriends by Alex Sanchez

We are so excited to have Sergio from the novel Boyfriends with Girlfriends here with us today. We hope you enjoy the interview. We are particularly fond of the description of his life. :-)

BCM: What’s the best thing about being best friends with a girl?

Sergio: All the feelings girls share. Kimiko is a lot more emotionally expressive than any of my guy friends.

BCM: What’s the hardest part about having a girl best friend?

Sergio: All the feelings they share. Sometimes Kimiko can be a little too emotionally expressive.

BCM: What’s one thing you'd want the world to know about you?

Sergio: That I’m not always as sure of myself as I try to make people believe I am.

BCM: Without giving too much away, how has meeting Lance changed your life for the better?

Sergio: I think getting to know Lance has made me realize that a relationship with a guy may be more difficult than with a girl, but that doesn’t make it impossible. It’s just different with a guy.

BCM: Describe your life in three words.

Sergio: Refuse. To. Conform.

BCM: The best thing about being bi is?

Sergio: Not feeling boxed-in to either being gay or straight.
