Maddie never really fit in in New Jersey, and, when three guys from her school throw her in the back of a van, she can't stay there anymore--especially since those guys are dead because she somehow killed them. When she starts hearing everyone's thoughts, as well, her life changes pretty completely.
Trevor always felt like he didn't belong, not even in his own family. He was such a klutz he could knock things over without even touching them. Now his telekinesis is so strong he can break down walls in his sleep--which makes him a dangerous roommate.
Drew has a big heart--and he can burn things down with a thought. He's the kind of guy you want on your side.
Rachel's been through some terrible things, but surviving them has made her stronger. Her remote viewing visions give her a window into distant places and make her the perfect tracker.
Hannah can heal injuries with a touch, but her true strength comes from her intense faith.
Cecelia doesn't let people get close--she's seen the pain of manipulation and mind-control too often. And sometimes she's been the one doing the controlling.
Dr. Williamson (minder)
Dr. Williamson founded Ganzfield along with his wife as a place to train people with special abilities like theirs. After her death, he lost track of some of the day-to-day workings of the place--and things got a bit out of control.
Seth's a loner, mostly because people's thoughts are painfully loud to him when they get too close. He's a bit of an enigma to the people of Ganzfield.
Also, Kate just released this new mock-up of the cover for a combo book of the first three books in the series. Isn't it pretty??
