#BIR2010 - Character Interview with Evie & Paranormalcy Giveaway

Paranormalcy is absolutely one of my favorite books of 2010 - if not all time. I loved this book so much! And now I'm just beyond happy to bring you this interview with Evie from Paranormalcy - courtesy of Kiersten White. You also have a chance to win this super fun book below. :-)

WARNING: This interview contains spoilers. If you have not yet read Paranormalcy, please beware!

BCM: If you could choose another color for Tasey, what would it be?

KW: Maybe mother-of-pearl, so it'd be all shiny and opalescent.  But then the shimmer would clash with rhinestones, so maybe a zebra striped one with pink accents. So many options!  You never knew Tasers were such a fashion accessory, did you?
BCM: What do you have hanging inside of your new locker at school?

KW: I have some pictures of Lend and me, which may or may not be hung with heart shaped magnets but don't tell him.  I also have a poster for that new vampire movie because it makes me laugh every time I see it, and sometimes between history and gym I really need a good giggle.

And, of course, a poster for the new season of Easton Heights.
BCM: What is the thing you were most surprised about now that you live
outside the IPCA?

KW: I always thought it'd be nice to be able to pick what to do with myself any hour of the day, but it turns out that real life still manages to be pretty busy.  Between school and Lend and homework and working at the diner, I'm even more exhausted by the end of the day than I ever was at IPCA.  I still make time for Easton Heights, though.  I have my priorities.
BCM: Does Lend have any flaws to him? At all?

KW: He studies way. too. much.  I mean, I'm glad he's smart and works hard in school, but seriously--boring.  Still, he's pretty cute when he's so concentrated on his textbook that his eyebrows come together and he bites his lip.
BCM: Can you tell us anything at all about what we can expect next from you?

KW: Well, I've been spending a lot of time working at the diner, which brings me into contact with a lot of strange paranormals.  Yeah, thought I was done with that, but not so much!  Other than that I'm applying to Georgetown so I can go to the same college as Lend and trying to survive the cruel and unusual punishment that is girls' gym.  Trolls have nothing on my gym teacher.

In fact, I kind of miss trolls these days...

Thank you Kiersten and Evie for the fun interview! And now for your chance to win Paranormalcy for yourself.
