Follow My Book Blog Friday!

This is BCM's very first Follow Friday post and I don't know why that is to be honest with you. I've been following Follow Friday at Parajunkee for months but just now decided to do it on our own blog. So if you don't already know, Follow Friday is a meme that is hosted by Parjunkee's View. If you want to make lots of new blogger friends, join  in on the fun!

Today's question is: What is your usual monthly book budget?

Hmmm....Mine is $20 or less but I'm okay with that since I have a very large TBR pile as it is.

If you are a new follower, please let us know so we can follow you back. :-)

  1. Hi, Cindy! Old follower here. Just dropping by from the hop. I have a sizable TBR pile too so my budget has decreased from $50 to around $30 now.

    Have a nice weekend!

  2. Well, that's the problem. I don't have a book "budget". If I want it, I get it. Which, like you, creates a very large TBR! Great meme. Think I'll try it myself. :)

  4. Hi. I am a new follower and a new book blogger! :)

$20 is a decent budget, I would agree. Sometimes if I am on a tight budget I would stick to a $20 limit. :)

    Check out my answer: http://ivyreads.blogspot.com

    Thank you.

  5. Hey! I'm your newest follower; just stopping by on the hop to wish you a great weekend!

My monthly book budget is $100 or less. I don't like to accumulate a huge TBR pile because it gets discouraging but I definitely have a long wish list online!

  6. Hi Cindy! I'm a new follower from the hop. Great blog! :)

This month's book budget for me is 0. Nada. Absolutely nothing. I'm making myself focus on schoolwork this November so I can get a head start on studying for finals this coming December, so I'm not buying or reading any new books. I can't wait til the end of the month!!!

    Have a great weekend!

  8. Hi. I am a new book blogger at http://ivyreads.com and a new follower! :)

$20 is a decent amount to spend. But if there are books that I want that's over the amount, I'll spend it anyways because it's a book I would like to read.

    Have a great weekend!

  9. Happy Friday, Cindy!

New follower here. I’m doing all three of the Friday blog runs. I don’t limit myself to budget with books. I just love to read and write so that line is always doable for me. And Yes, I love start a series at the 1st book.

  10. New follower! My TBR pile is out of control, so I have no book budget. I need to read the books I have.

  11. Book budget? What's a book budget?

Seriously, I don't have one. I don't keep on buying books until I hit
bankruptcy but neither do I hold myself back from buying a book that really
    speaks to me.

I exercise a fair amount of fiduciary responsibility but nothing so formal
as to be called a book budget.

    TGIFF!

    Thank God It's Follow Friday!

  13. I would like to say my budget is $20 or less, but I tend to spend more than that! I can't seem to control myself in a bookstore -- it tends to be problematic at times. =)
