Genre: YA Fiction
In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together.
For Grace, this means defying her parents, who have suddenly taken an intrest in her life, and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means coming to terms with his werewolf past and figuring out a way to survive into the future.
A new relationship is blooming. A wolf named Cole, one of the new wolves Beck created to help protect and care for the wolves in his absence, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves.
They are the 4 points of view we get to read from. Where we see what love can do, and has done for them; the struggles with family and friends; and the struggles with their own pasts.
I was so excited to see this book dropped off on Tuesday. I could not put it down. My hubby could tell you that! If you loved Shiver, you will love this book just as much. There are twists and turns that you don't expect. I will say one thing, you will want tissues.
I give this book 5 stars.
