Jane Slayer by Charlotte Bronte, Sherri Browning Erwin

If you have read the Bronte classic Jane Eyre, then you know the story behind Jane Slayer. If not, that's ok too because in either case, you are in for a treat. Jane Slayer is the supernatural remake of Jane Eyre. Characters and plot are pretty close to the same, but Jane has it in her blood to slay the supernatural beings.

She is raised by vampires, goes to school where there are zombies, meets warewolves. And all she wants is to love and be loved. This is a very cute story, and I would give it 4 stars.

If you enjoyed reading this, there are other remakes of the classics, one of which I'm looking into getting "The Little Vampire Women".

  1. You have convinced me to give these a try! I saw the Abraham Lincoln one and laughed really hard. Now I think that I will have to start reading these as they seem to be a fun read. Thanks!!
